Sheila Sweeney Fortune

Stop by the library to view the work of Sheila Sweeney Fortune. Her paintings, mainly oil on canvas, reflect her love of gardening and include landscapes, flowers, and plants. She and her husband raised their children in the Boston area; they now live in Morristown, New Jersey.


Gingerbread Festival!

December 2- December 6th, 2014
Raffle! Win a Gingerbread House!

Come and marvel at a variety of Gingerbread houses made by local cake artists. All of the houses are being raffled off for you to enjoy in your home through the holidays.

Tickets are $1 each or 10 for $5 and can be found at the library desk.
Bring in a canned food item for the Food Pantry and get a free raffle ticket!

Co-authors Jay and David Ball will use their recent book Ark Builders: Worship Through Woodworking to discuss how a remarkable group of men at Temple Israel of Natick -- the Ark Builders -- brought their talents and interests to bear, first to meet the needs of their congregation, and later in service to the wider community. Sponsored by the Eliot Church, Bacon Free Library, and Natick Historical Society.

Charles River Community Groups

Check out Charles River Community Groups, a group of non-profits along Rte. 16 that includes the BFL, the Natick Historical Society, the Natick Organic Farm, Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary (Mass Audubon), Mass. Horticultural Society, and the Eliot Church. Our goal is to collaborate and share resources and programming for the betterment of the community.
